Andrea Levine
OwnerAndrea Levine is a professional violinist, owner of live music entertainment service Miss Musique and pedagogue. Ms. Levine has performed with artists such as Rod Stewart, Carlos Santana, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Matthew Morrison, The Roots, NAS, Busta Rhymes, Janelle Monae and The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. She has also appeared on television productions such as “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon”, “Good Morning America”, “Chappelle’s Show” and The Library of Congress “Gershwin Awards”. Ms. Levine has performed at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, and Jones Beach Theater, among others. Andrea also performs with major Philadelphia-area orchestras including the Philly Pops, Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, Delaware Symphony, Harrisburg Symphony, and Allentown Symphony, and holds a Staff Faculty position at Settlement Music School in Philadelphia. Ms. Levine received a Master’s of Music degree (with Honors) from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s of Music degree from Boston University. Ms. Levine’s major teachers include Bayla Keyes (Boston University Professor), Marjorie Bagley (UNC Greensboro Associate Professor), Andrés Cárdenes (Carnegie Mellon University Distinguished Professor) and Paul Arnold (The Philadelphia Orchestra). In addition to performing and teaching, Andrea can be found frequenting the restaurant scene in Philadelphia, practicing yoga or playing fetch with her cat Mittens.
