Shubhasree Banerjee, MD

Dr. Shubhasree Banerjee, MD, MBBS, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. She earned her MBBS from Kolkata Medical College (2005) and her MD in Biochemistry from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (2009), then completed internal medicine training at Overlook Medical Center and a fellowship at NIH/NIAMS (Bethesda). Dr. Banerjee's clinical interests include vasculitis and relapsing polychondritis. She is nationally recognized for her clinical and research leadership in relapsing polychondritis; she leads efforts to develop a longitudinal patient cohort and has run some of the first clinical trials in this disease to improve understanding and treatment of this rare disease.
